Project Design Brief 

  • New two-level dual-occupancy duplex on a generous residential block, designed to maximise livability, privacy, and outdoor entertaining with 2x swimming pools.
  • Located in Strathfield, offering a light, inner-west urban character with proximity to schools, parks, and local amenities.
  • Dual frontage and efficient layouts allow for separate vehicular access, parking, and service areas for each dwelling.
  • Material selection creates minimalist geometry, subtle architectural lighting and neutral colour palette.

Challenges & Achievements 

  • Efficiently fitting two dwellings on a single block while maintaining privacy, functional layouts, and generous outdoor spaces.
  • Dual frontage and driveway coordination ensured safe, practical access for both dwellings while integrating landscaping requirements.
  • With the building positioned in close proximity to a main road, additional consideration was given to acoustic performance to maintain internal comfort privacy and amenity.
  • Delivered a modern, liveable duplex with seamless indoor–outdoor flow, high-quality finishes, and streetscape-sensitive architectural design.
