Project Design Brief

• Construction of a new two-level residence with integrated outdoor entertaining and swimming pool.
• Located in the residential suburb of Earlwood within Sydney’s Inner West.
• The design is arranged across two levels to maximise natural light, functionality and contemporary family living.
• The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen, living and dining zone that flows seamlessly to the outdoor entertaining area and swimming pool, creating a strong indoor–outdoor connection ideal for entertaining.
• Expansive glazing enhances natural light while strengthening visual connections to the landscaped backyard and pool. 

Challenges & Achievements 

• Achieving seamless indoor–outdoor connectivity between living areas and the pool required close coordination between architectural intent and structural execution.
• Full-height glazing and open-plan layouts presented structural and logistical challenges that were resolved through bespoke engineering solutions.
• The final design delivers fluid entertainment spaces while maintaining privacy and comfort for the family.
• The completed home delivers exceptional indoor–outdoor living, maximised natural light, and a sophisticated contemporary character.
